A lot of people think we’re living in an advanced, civilized society, but that’s only because there have been many absurdities that have been normalized. One example being that in many places, they still lock people in cages for using a harmless plant that makes them happy.
The fact that so many people believe they have the “authority” to ban nature, and that such nonsense laws are respected and obeyed, shows that the majority of the population is still stuck in a low state of consciousness.
Thankfully, this is starting to change. More States (and entire countries) are starting to legalize it; though it never should have been made a criminal offense in the first place.
A good rule of thumb to determine the validity of a “crime” is to ask yourself is there was a victim.
If the answer is no, there is no crime. Simple, really.
