Even excluding the massive death toll, communism is anti-freedom. Proponents of it seem to think that the government should have a monopoly on pretty much everything, which is idiotic considering that free market competition leads to more choice and better prices/services for the end consumer.. and the profit motive attributed to capitalism is a major motivating factor for people to work hard, be productive and innovate.
Communists hate capitalism, which is basically the voluntary exchange of willing participants. To think that the answer to the worlds problems is to create a massive, overreaching entity (which is typically headed by psychopaths) to forcefully interfere in every aspect of peoples lives is beyond stupid. If you agree.. you’ll love our communism is for dummies line.
