Description
Roughly 1 out of every 100 people in the world are psychopaths. For sociopaths, the number is about 4 out of 100. These people lack empathy for others. They’re wired differently.
Psychopaths don’t have a conscious like the rest of us, and to make matters worse, many of them take pleasure in the suffering of others. It’s hard for regular people to comprehend why so many evil acts are committed, but this small subset of the population is the reason.
While these mentally deranged people make up only a small percentage of the population, they can certainly wreak havoc when they reach positions of political power and influence.
This is where the problem lies.
While the vast majority of people have a functioning moral compass, they’ve been brainwashed to be obedient to authority. So, when one of these psychopaths are perceived to have “authority”, good people can be made to do terrible things.
This is how mass genocides and wars are possible. Millions of people end up murdered by those who were “just following orders”.
This needs to change, and the public school system (where this obedience training commences) is an ideal place to start.
Our “nobody rules” collection promotes disobedience. The disobedience that can save millions of lives the next time a psychopath “leader” of a nation decides to promote an unjust war or a genocide.
