People seem to think that flat slabs of concrete somehow justify the enslavement of humanity.
These people can’t comprehend how free market solutions could provide us with roads.
This is odd, because private roads already exist..
And.. using some common sense here.. if the free market can produce the cars we use to drive upon the roads, why couldn’t the free market also produce the roads themselves?
What’s more complicated to organize and build?
1) An self driving automobile, consisting of thousands of parts, which can reach speeds 150+ mph, while simultaneously keeping you safe, comfortable and entertained via sensors, air conditioning and in-built media players.. or..
2) A flat slab of concrete.
People will thank capitalism for their smartphone and other, amazing technological advancements which make their lives easier.. yet they can’t fathom a how a road could be built under the same free market principals.
It’s weird.
